My one & only potential living kidney donor had to send in a heck of a lot of lab work this week to Cedars....

Blood (10 vials)

24 hour creatinine clearance (to see what her kidney function levels are)

Pregnancy glucose test (though not pregnant, looking for diabetes) (**Edited from now pregnant, sorry Sarah, to scare you like that!)

And now?

We wait.

We know within 14 - 21 days if we have a go / no go for transplant.

If a go?

Surgery is in 2-4 mo's- after I fly her AK to CA 2x for testing, then we prep surgery by me going OR to LA for a week, then back again for a day 2 weeks later, then back a week later for surgery.

If we get a Yes, she can still fall out / back out at any time, but we pray and move forward.

And raise about $15K to cover non-covered expenses.
